About Us

MESSIANIC SCRIPTURE

We are Messianic scripture based family continues learning to walk-in love for ADONAI our Elohim with all of our hearts, with all our souls and all our substances. And to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We deem this as first and the most important commandment as our Master Yeshua the Messiah had affirmed and commanded us.

(Mark 12:28)

TORAH OBSERVANT

We are a Spirit filled Torah observant community of faith.

EMC was founded from the background of Pentecostal – Charismatic fellowship in 2002. TJ and KC Mokgola have shepherded this congregation since then. As a congregation we have gone through different transformational stages as we felt led by Rouach Hashem (Spirit of the Lord). We started in 2002 as Mount Carmel Worship Centre later Latter House Community international. A ministry which was of course influenced by Apostolic and Prophetic movement of the time. In 2020 we strongly felt that we were led to start observing the feasts and migrate into the Messianic walk. This is where the Eldabar Messianic Community started to be formulated. In 2022 we officially migrated into Messianic Worship and we moved from Sunday worship to Shabbat.

CONFESSION OF FAITH

SHEMA

Shema is the first and the most important commandment for both the people of Israel and those who joined them through the faith in Yeshua the Messiah. When asked which one is the most important commandment Yeshua gave precise answers which lead to Israel creed or statement of belief. “Yeshua answered, “The most important is, ‘Sh’ma Yisra’el, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, O Isra’el, the Lord our God, the Lord is one], and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other mitzvah greater than these.””
Mark (Mrk) 12:29-31 CJB

JOURNEY FROM WESTERN CHRISTOCENTRIC TO MESSIANIC WALK WORLDVIEW

OVERSEER’S TESTIMONIAL
We always felt that there was more to faith than where we used to be and how we used to believe. We time and again sought ways of ADONAI, we continued doing everything we learned in our Christian walk but we grew unsatisfied. Things we enjoyed doing didn’t make sense as before. We never doubted that HASHEM called us and was pointing us to something but we didn’t know what it was. The only thing we had was western Christological world view we were not that aware of the growing Messianic Movement.
